Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa - Text Exemplar - Freebie

The next installment in my series on Common Core text exemplars for second and third grades is based on Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa. This packet contains activities on compound words, relating events to chapters, using illustrations to determine meaning of text, writing an opinion piece, and much more!
