I discovered some new clip art today. It's from Hoot and Crow and is dah-ling!
Match up the words and two meanings, then choose two sets of the words and write sentences with them. It's fun vocabulary practice for Common Core in both second and third grade.

That frog is adorable! The document isn't linked to your picture at least for me.

ReplyDeleteOur school is slowly easing us into the Commom Core Standards over the next couple of years. I'm so glad I found your blog!! This has helped me to incorporate many of the language arts standards into my lessons for the upcoming school year. I love how you post both second and third grade standards for your lessons. I teach third grade reading and this is a godsend for me!! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded all of your multiple-meaning games you posted on here and I'm very excited to get them ready for next year while I have time this summer and then to use them next year. It's so great that they are free too! Thank you for taking the time to make and share them with all of us! That's really great of you!! :)
