Amelia Bedelia and Multiple Meaning Words -- Freebie

Who doesn't love Amelia Bedelia? Work with determining the meaning of multiple-meaning words with the fun, fun, fun book, Amelia Bedelia's First Day of School, by Herman Parrish. This activity for a learning station or or as a whole group activity is correlated to the Common Core Standards.
(How many multiple-meaning words can you use in a comment?)

  1. I LEFT you a comment since it is the RIGHT thing to do. I WISH I were as clever as you, though! (ok...three multiple meaning words is pathetic, but it is all I can muster now!)

  2. I tried to TRIM this comment SO it wasn't TOO big, BUT I have a hard TIME with keeping my thoughts to myself. I liked your activity and love Amelia Bedelia. I always share with my kids that after Amelia Bedelai PASSED away, that her nephew Herman wanted to keep the legacy going so that is why he is now WRITing the STORIES. Thanks for sharing this with us.
