Multisyllable Words Flash Freebie!

I have been neglecting my blog these past few weeks as I have been traveling my region of the state training other third grade teachers in implementing the ELA Common Core Standards in our classrooms. I may be the trainer, but I have learned just as much from all of my fellow teachers in our sessions.
One of the biggest shifts for third grade teachers is the renewed emphasis on the Reading Foundational skills that the state of Tennessee is promoting. Our kiddos are still "learning to read," getting ready for the transition in fourth grade to "reading to learn."

I made a new packet on multisyllable words to help my kiddos and I am offering it to you tonight as a flash freebie. It will be in my Teachers Pay Teachers store from now until I go to bed. I'll take it down just as soon as I get packed for tomorrow's training.
If you want it, click on the pic below to grab it before it goes away!
Check back tomorrow, because I'm putting my whole store on sale to make up for not being around during training!

  5. Thank you, Mary! I'll be sharing this with the teachers at the school where I am a TAS. My daughter is also a Core Coach, for middle school, and she has learned so much! I have ELA CC training this week after having math in June - all Specialists are attending his year. I'm so excited about the shifts toward critical thinking!
