Here's a snazzy version of one of my favorite math games for practicing adding to one hundred. My kids love to play Pig, so I dressed the directions up a bit for my math stations. If you haven't tried it in your class yet, here's your chance! They won't even know they are practicing math!
Just print the file, add dice, and you are ready to go.

Hi Mary!
ReplyDeleteWe play Pig a different way in my class... But it is still our favorite game. It is a little close to gambling--but no money changes hands. :)
And we have a stuffed pig (not real) that sits on my desk... and it begins with: "This is a game called Pig... Silence to begin..."
Now I am missing my sixth graders--but not enough to give up my delight in being glad it's summer!
Thanks for sharing your version...
Kim
Finding JOY in 6th Grade
Hello Mary,
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of the game Pig and am looking forward to playing it with my students. Thank you for taking time from your summer break to create something great for us.
I just got my new blog up and running and I have quite a learning curve.
