Hoppin' on Multiple Meaning Words -- Freebie!

I discovered some new clip art today. It's from Hoot and Crow and is dah-ling!

Match up the words and two meanings, then choose two sets of the words and write sentences with them. It's fun vocabulary practice for Common Core in both second and third grade.

Click on the pic above to download the activity.

  8. Our school is slowly easing us into the Commom Core Standards over the next couple of years. I'm so glad I found your blog!! This has helped me to incorporate many of the language arts standards into my lessons for the upcoming school year. I love how you post both second and third grade standards for your lessons. I teach third grade reading and this is a godsend for me!! Thank you.
