I'm watching the news as I type and can't help but think about the elementary school that was destroyed in a neighboring county. I think most teachers think of their classrooms and schools as their "other" home. Imagine losing all your materials, supplies, and books when your school was destroyed in a tornado.
South Lincoln School in Lincoln County, Tennessee, was destroyed yesterday. One of my closest friends at my school lives in Lincoln County and knows several families who lost their homes.
Here's a picture of the school from their webpage.
Here's one after the tornado.
The school family is definitely in my prayers.
Oh my, I'm so glad you are safe. School is my home away from home. Prayers and good thoughts for all!

Oh, wow. School is definitely my second home. Everyone there is in my thoughts.
